On a trip to England to research my book The Christmas Doll , I visited The Tower of London. I also took a side trip to Scotland's Isle of Islay. The middle grade novel I'm working on now joins these two places, as a Scottish girl and an English boy undertake a daring adventure that could cost them their lives! I hope to complete the story this winter and hopefully you will be reading it. (Published by Scholastic) next year sometime.
